Terms & Conditions of Sale

  • We’re sorry that we are not able to give refunds or exchanges, so please check your tickets carefully before completing your order.
  • Please either print your ticket and bring it to each event or - to save ink and paper - bring it on your phone or tablet.
  • Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the event.
  • Seats are not numbered and therefore seat reservations are not possible.
  • Tickets may be available at the door, but please call our office to check.
  • Due to the nature of church architecture, some seats may have a restricted view and you may want to bring a cushion for extra comfort.
  • Afternoon events are generally around 60 minutes long with no interval. Evening events are generally 120 to 150 minutes long including an interval of around 20 minutes.
  • Refreshments are available at many of our events. Where possible, details will be available on the Venues pages of the Festival website.
  • We may alter the programme in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Parking: we appreciate that parking can be tricky at our venues. In some locations we are able to arrange parking but generally the earlier you arrive, the easier it is to park. We’d appreciate it if you could car-share where possible, and park with consideration for local residents. More detailed information is available about parking on the Venues page.

Photography: unauthorised photography and recording is not permitted at Swaledale Festival events.

Sustainability: If you don’t want a paper brochure posted to your address, please let us know and we’ll save waste. We would like to encourage our audience members to journey-share wherever they can to help reduce emissions. THANK YOU!
